This unit is and introduction to Cubism as an influential art movement. The unit begins with an exploration of the artwork of Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and other Cubist artists. Once familiar with the style of Cubism students will create a design in that style.

Creating “Digital Cubism” using Adobe Photoshop requires students to download high quality images from the internet for use in the design, apply and adjust filters, use layers and layer styles, cut, paste and transform images.
