This basic digital photography unit introduces students to the Cannon DSLR cameras and digital photo management.  Students will be required to take digital photos using shutter speed and aperture priority modes and be introduced to ISO.  The elements of art and principles of design will be reinforced throughout this lesson.  Photographic compositional rules will be introduced and a number of Photoshop layer adjustments will be applied to photos.  Students will create a digital photo portfolio as the unit culminating project.
