Grades: I will not be posting grades or project feedback on this site. The grading for projects (posted under each class) will be determined after a student self evaluation and class critique for each major project. Rubrics presented to the students prior to the start of each project and reviewed almost daily will guide the evaluation process. Your student’s classroom participation will also play a critical role in the grades determined for this class. Effort counts! Therefore you do not have to be a naturally talented artist to get a good grade in the class. Students who put in the effort and follow the guidelines and rubrics for the projects can excel in my courses.

Student Work: Any student work posted on the site will be done so with student permission and will be anonymous. No photos of students will be posted. The purpose of posting student work on the site will be to show off exemplary works of art. If you would like to see more of your students artwork please ask them. Every student has access to all of his or her work and will be able bring it home at any time. Unfortunately, we do not print much artwork due to the expense of ink and number of students in the classes.
